Edith Keesler Campbell, age 88, of Bethany, PA, died Friday evening, February 19, 2016 at Wayne Woodlands Manor. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Campbell, Sr. on September 8, 2007. Born on April 6, 1927 in Rutledgedale, PA, Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Katherine Copeland Keesler. Edith worked at the Card and Candle Gift Shop in Honesdale, PA for several years, where she became friends with many people. She was of the Methodist faith, and was a very active past member and officer at the Seelyville Chapel, and later attended the Bethany United Methodist Church. She was also a past member of the Seelyville Fire Company Ladies' Auxiliary. She was a loving and kind person to everyone who knew her. She is survived by three sons and their wives: William F. Campbell, Jr. and Regina of Beach Lake, PA, Terry Campbell and Linda of Bethany, PA, and Randy Campbell and Sharon of Dalton, PA; four grandchildren: Patrick Campbell, Katie King and her husband Greg, and Alyson and Amelia Campbell; one brother and his wife: Robert Keesler and Ferne of Bethany, PA; and several nieces and nephews. Edith's family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the Staff of Wayne Woodlands Manor and to Dr. Paula Bennett for the wonderful care they provided to her over the past six years. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the Bethany United Methodist Church, Bethany, PA, with The Reverend Kenneth Small, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bethany United Methodist Church, 3 Court Street, Bethany, PA 18431, Wayne Woodlands Manor, 37 Woodlands Drive, Waymart, PA 18472, or the Dessin Animal Shelter, 138 Miller Drive, Honesdale, PA 18431. Interment will be in Bethany Cemetery. Arrangements are attended by the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 North Main Street, Honesdale, PA 18431.
