Obituary of Gary Regelsky

Gary "Pop Pop" Regelsky, 68, of Waymart, Pa , formerly of Hudson County, New Jersey died Monday, March 21, 2016 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, following an illness. Born in Scranton son of the late Adam and Dolores Miller Rgelsky he was a master machinist. Gary was a member of several marine related unions and had worked on board many shipping vessels. In that capacity he had travelled to many countries. He was an avid fisherman and a devoted father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be remembered for his great sense of humor and as someone who was always there when needed. He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Rivera, Hawley, a son , James A. Regelsky, Waymart; two brothers: Joseph Regelsky and Eugene Taliercio both of New Jersey, a sister, Nancy Regelsky, Hawley; four grandchildren:Ashley, CAitlyn, Alysa and Christian. he was preceded in death by 8 siblings: Deborah, Joseph, William, Richard, Adam, Annie, David, and Dolores). A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 North MAin Street, Honesdale. Friends and family will gather from 4:30 - 6:30 at the Waymart Fire Hall, 254 Carbondale Road, Waymart. PA.
