Obituary of Brian S. Morgan

Brian S. Morgan passed away suddenly on Friday, October 21st, 2016, at his home in Piscataway, NJ. Brian was a graduate of Piscataway High School and Kutztown University. He did extensive work in broadcasting for WVPH-FM, Piscataway as a disc jockey; for WAWZ-FM, Zarephath, NJ as an announcer and sports reporter; and for Piscataway Community TV as a sports announcer. He was also a lacrosse coach for Rutgers Prep, Millburn High School, Oratory Prep, the College of St. Elizabeth, and Johnson State University in Johnson, VT. He also occasionally served as official scorer for the Somerset Patriots baseball team. At the time of his passing, he worked as a Producer at I (heart) Traffic in their Rutherford, NJ office. He is survived by his mother, Joyce M. Morgan of Honesdale, PA; his brothers W. Bruce Morgan of Phillipsburg; Donald V. Morgan of Bedminster; Patrick D. and Kenneth E. Morgan, both of Piscataway; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his father, William C. Morgan, who taught at South Plainfield High School for over thirty years. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, November 19th, at Hydewood Park Baptist Church, located at 100 Norwood Ave. in North Plainfield, NJ. Visitation will take place at 2PM, followed by the service at 3PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Highlands Lacrosse, 151 Laurel Hill Estates, Honesdale, PA 18431. Arrangements are attended by the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 Main Street, Honesdale, Pa 18431.
