Obituary of Charles E. Dietz

Charles E. Dietz, 75 of Honesdale passed away on March 3, 2018 after a battle with cancer. Born in Carbondale he was the son of the late Charles J. and Eleanor Dietz . He graduated in 1960 from Ben Franklin High School in Carbondale. Charles worked at Moore Business Forms and the produce department at Walmart before retiring. He was an avid gardener and grew beautiful flowers and great vegetables. He was always happy to share. Charles raised lots of chickens and he was always glad to give you a dozen eggs any time you paid him a visit. He loved hunting and his great fishing trips to Polaski for salmon and trout. Charles was a beloved father to Tami Dietz Roloson ;a brother to Theresa Donnelly and Lois Buckingham; and a beloved uncle to Bobby Donnelly and Kelly Pergolese.He is also survived by cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by an infant son. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday , March 8, 2018 in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 North Main Street, Honesdale, Pa. with Rev. Gary Gilpin of Aldenville Baptist Church officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday from 1: 00- 2:00 pm. Interment will be in the Spring in the Berlin Bible Cemetery, South Canaan.
