Jane S. Case Our beloved Jane S. Case, of Honesdale, PA and Venice, FL passed on Thursday, April 12, 2012 attended by her family after a brave and valiant battle with cancer. Born in Lansdowne, PA, daughter of the late William (Bill) and Wilhelmina (Mina) Davies Smith, Jane is survived by Robert Case her loving husband and soul mate of 52 years. Jane spent the majority of her time in Florida these past eighteen years where she and Bob enjoyed their home and many friends engaging in golf, cards and tennis to name a few. They also traveled extensively by boat and motor home experiencing the United States to its fullest. However, "Grammy" had her priorities. Come spring there was only one place she would consider spending time. She and Bob would promptly head north to maximize time with their daughters and grandchildren in Honesdale. It was only after their grandchildren headed back to school that she would even consider returning to their 'other life' in Florida. Aside from Bob, three daughters Kim (Ted) Mikulak and Cinda (Tom) Dirlam of Honesdale, PA and Robin (Chris) Reynolds in nearby Hawley, PA and her prized grandchildren, Hillary Mikulak, Brook, Cody and Mackenzie Dirlam, and Christopher Reynolds, survive Jane. Also her sister, Ann Childs (Venice, FL); nieces and nephews; extended family and friends both of Honesdale, PA and Venice, FL. Jane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be sorely missed. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to Wayne Memorial Hospice c/o Wayne Memorial Hospital, 601 Park Street, Honesdale, Pa or to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are attended by the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 Main Street, Honesdale, Pa.
