Winifred "Winnie" C. Tolerico, 87 of Honesdale died unexpectedly at Regional Hospital of Scranton on October 8, 2022. She was married for 60 years to the late Thomas J. Tolerico who died in 2021.

Winnie was born in Waymart, Pa on September 16, 1935 the daughter of the late Clayton and Marguerite Minor Case.

Winnie graduated from Honesdale High School and college at Penn State. She came home to work in the family business until she was married and became a homemaker. Winnie was a lifetime member of the Honesdale Golf Club where she enjoyed her time golfing with family and friends. She was a member of the Honesdale United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son Joseph Tolerico and his wife Lori of Honesdale; grandchildren, Stephen and Patrick Tolerico of Honesdale; brothers, Charles Case of Honesdale and Robert Case and his wife Nancy of Naples, Florida.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Patricia Tamblyn and Jane Theurer.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society

The family would like to thank the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center for the excellent care of Winnie and Tom for the past 5 years during difficult circumstances.
