Judith "Judy" Healy died peacefully in Wayne Memorial Hospital on Friday, February 2 at the age of 77.
The oldest of five, Judy was born and raised in College Point, Queens, New York on December 24, 1946. A proud New Yorker, Judy served in the New York Guard. She loved her city and her country. Judy moved to Honesdale, Pennsylvania and resided at Stourbridge Square Apartments, where she fostered many friendships. She was an avid volunteer at Meals on Wheels, and greatly enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Judy is survived by her sisters Patricia, Barbara (Eddie), Diane, her brother Paul (Nora), along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She will be missed by her family, friends, and neighbors.
Memorial services will be held for family and friends at the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, located at 1228 Main St, Honesdale, PA, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, February 9. A prayer service will follow at 3:30, led by Diane Quintiliani.
