Ruth Ann Racht, 75, of Honesdale passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025 at her home. She is survived by her husband Allan Racht, they were married Saturday, August 24, 1968.

Born Friday, May 6, 1949 in Daleville, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Mabel (Haines) Rake. She graduated from the Honesdale High School and was employed as a housekeeper at Cove Haven for over 30 years.

She loved spending time with her family and was fond of flowers especially zinnias.

Surviving are two children; son Frank Racht and his companion Jamie Box, of Beach Lake, daughter Angel Flood and her husband Rich, of Matamoras; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; five siblings, Floyd Rake, Patricia Peake, Clarence Rake, Nancy Smith, and Catherine Wasylyk; as well as nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary and Lori Rake and a brother Lewis Rake, Jr.

As per her request cremation will be held and a Memorial Service will be announced at a future time.

Arrangements are attended to by the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, Honesdale.
