Richard C. Punzi, 77, of Equinunk, PA passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at the Carbondale Nursing and Rehab Center, Carbondale, PA. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Barbara (Layton) Punzi, they were married Saturday, June 24, 1989.

Born Friday, August 22, 1947, in Queens, NY, he was a son of the late Ignatz and Alice (Luptak) Punzi. He was employed as an auto body worker, as well as holding various other jobs.

Also surviving are two children Rich Krauss of Monticello and Dorothy Punzi of Prompton; two stepsons, Bradley Kimmel and his wife Justine of Florida and Robert Kimmel and his companion Jennifer, of Mayfield, a brother Robert Punzi; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother Roger Punzi and a sister Helen Bauer.

As per his request cremation will be held.
