Helen L Neugebauer Obituary

It is with sadness that the family of Helen Steck Neugebauer of South Canaan PA announces her passing on June 13 2025 after complications from a recent fall.

Helen was born on December 15, 1941 in Mt Vernon NY. She was a faithful member of the Honesdale Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1974. Helen was known for her love of animals, flowers, singing and her excellent cooking.

Helen is survived by her husband Charles Neugebauer, her children Richard, Russel and Linda Bethel, her grandchildren Natalie and Charles and her nephew David Dowd.

She was predeceased by her parents Margret & Herman Steck and her sister Eleanor Dowd.

Helen will be remembered for her devotion to Jehovah and her perseverance through chronic health challenges.

Her family takes solace in the fact that she is at peace.

A Memorial Service will be held on June 21, 2025, at the Honesdale Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 1:30 pm. Zoom arrangements will be available.
