Michael David Polley 71, of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Honesdale, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at his home in Phoenix, AZ. He had resided in Phoenix since the age of 19.

Born, Tuesday, June 8, 1954 in Honesdale, he was the only child of the late Jack and Doris Polley.

Michael graduated from Honesdale High School with the class of 1972 and studied at Salem College in Salem, WV.

He worked at Best Western Resorts and Hotels for 37 years in Phoenix, AZ. He was known for his exceptional memory, often recalling numerous stories and family history.

He will be remembered by his many cousins.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Indian Orchard Cemetery.
