Victor J. Falvo, 92, Honesdale, died Monday at Ellen Memorial Healthcare Center, while with his beloved wife, Delores Falvo. Dee and Vic were first residents of Honesdale, then Old Forge, and then again Honesdale, but in early retirement they spent winters at Cedar Creek Lake in Texas with their sons and grandchildren living near there. Born in Carbondale, son of the late Carlo and Grace (Bonacci) Falvo, he was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale and a loving father and grandfather. Vic was a professional musician in his younger days playing throughout the area with his good friends in a dance band called the Diamonds. From his teenage years, he was employed by Acme Markets and became a store manager leading various markets throughout the region until his retirement. During his life and retirement, his interests were fishing, carpentry, technology, photography, caring for his pet dogs, his pontoon boat in Texas, volunteering at the animal shelter in Texas, and playing his piano, keyboard and guitar, after giving up his first instrument, the accordion. Survivors include his wife Delores; sons Michael, David, Perry, and Mark; two daughters in law, Susan and Annamarie: Three Grandchildren, Grant, Victor, and Betty; a sister, Helen Muro; a sister-in-law, Mary (Spizzirri) Falvo; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, John, Carmine, Felix (Joe) and Anthony Falvo; infant brother, Carlo Falvo; and a sister, Frances Falbo.
