William “Wild Bill” Sibal, 75, of Honesdale and formerly of Hempstead, New York passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at his home. He is survived by his wife Linda (Kruzait) Sibal, they were married November 13, 1989.

Born November 27, 1950 in Astoria, NY he was a son of the late William and Nancy (Averill) Sibal. Bill had recently retired as a clerk working at PathMark and then Stop and Shop. He was a member of the UFCW Local 1500.​​​​​​​

He was also a member of the La Cosecha Community Church of Hempstead, NY. He enjoyed baseball and will be remembered as a diehard NY Mets fan.

Surviving two children, Joseph Sibal and his wife Jocelyn of NY and Victoria Pascavage and her husband Vinnie of Honesdale. 7 step children; 5 grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren and a sister Barbara Vecchio.

He was preceded in death by a sister June.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 20, 2026​from 10-11 AM at the Arthur A Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 N. Main St., Honesdale, with the funeral service following at 11:00.
