Ada L Hoehn Obituary

Ada L. (Teeple) Hoehn, 84, of Abrahamsville, passed away Friday, May 15, 2026 at her daughter’s home in Honesdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Hoehn.


Born August 27, 1941 at the family farm in Equinunk she was a daughter of the late Orvis and Mildred (Taft) Teeple.


She graduated from the Hancock High School.


She loved children and helped raise and care for many of them. Flowers and birds also brought her lots of joy but family was her happy place.


She is survived by two daughters, Faye and her husband David Niles of Galilee and Tina Hoehn and companion Scott Leet of Honesdale; 2 grandsons Matthew Niles and Daniel K Figura; four great grandchildren, Andrew, Brody, Bella, and Gavin. As well as nieces, nephews and cousins. She also has two aunts; Marion Harrie, who helped care for her, and Vera Black.


She was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Granville and Charlene (Cinque) Teeple and her first grandchild, Justin Niles.


A Visitation for friends and family will be held from 10 AM -12 Noon, Saturday June 6, 2026 at the Arthur A Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 N. Main St., Honesdale. A private burial service will be held later for the family.


Donations can be made in her honor to the Wayne County YMCA 105 Park St., Honesdale Pa 18431.
