Ruth Ann Swingle

April 14, 1947 – July 17, 2026

Ruth passed away peacefully Friday Night at Ellen Memorial Health Care after an eight year illness. She was the daughter of Elwin Rosener and Doris Olver Rosener and was raised on the farm in Aldenville which she always loved.

She graduated from Waymart High School and Stanton Office School in Honesdale. Ruth retired from Wayne Highlands School District in 2013 after 20 plus years and was a secretary to the teachers, a job she loved.

She leaves behind her husband Lee Swingle and her son Kevin and wife Mary Ann and grandchildren Addison and Zane. She is also survived by her sister Karen Bates and husband Harv and nephew Brad Bates.

There will be no services as of now but there will be a church service at the Bethany Presbyterian Church in the future.

The family would also like to thank all the angels who took care of her and treated her like a Queen for the past two years. We are eternally grateful to you all. Also if anyone who knew her and worked with her you already know why we loved her so much.
