Margaret Martha Menotti Brion passed away July 18, 2026 (age 95),at her residence, Wayne Woodlands Manor. She was born October 12, 1930 in Hawley, Pa , She is survived by four daughters, Susan Thompson (Martin Strasinger), Linda Butler, Julie Brion Pfahl (Gerald Pfahl), Marcie Brion Lewis (David Lewis), grandchildren Matthew Holden (Adrienne Holden), Johnathan Powell(Julie Powell), Michelle Holden Miller (Gregory Miller), Adrian Butler, Jacob Cabaniss, great grandchildren, Michael Mancuso, Jackson Powell, Cameron and Dominic Miller, Olivia and Addison Holden. Several were by her side during the final days, which were peaceful for all.

Margaret's life was long and full. Born in Hawley, Pa. to Adore and Gertrude (Munzel) Menotti, she spent her school years living in New York City. Life brought her back to Hawley to raise four daughters. During this time she worked secretarial as well as food service jobs. Her last positions had her at Katz Factory and Days Bakery. After retirement in 1995 she lived in Stourbridge Apartments in Honesdale where she was very involved in painting, running bingo, and gardening, as well as grandparenting.

Love was how she lived her life. She showed care and concern for everyone she met. She was never judgmental or critical about anyone.

When help was needed she was there, giving, participating, and showing endless love without asking questions. Music and sunshine were two of her favorite things.

Just prior to her last breath she advised her two grandsons to be careful in all they do in life, as well as saying "I love you" to all who held her hand and loved her for the last time.

Margaret was buried July 21st, 2026 at Green Gates Cemetery in Hawley, Attended by her daughter Susan Thompson and Grandson Johnathan Powell, and Pastor Ken Claflin

A service to celebrate her life will be August 22, 2026 at 10AM in her church, Hamlin Assembly of God, 613 Eastern Twp. Lake Arial, Pa.
