Allan John Schnakenberg, 75, of Equinunk, passed away Saturday morning, July 25, 2026 at his home following a long illness.

Allan grew up in Duck Harbor. He graduated from Damascus High School and received an Associate’s Degree in Agriculture from SUNY Delhi.

He owned and operated the Allanberg Dairy Farm and received numerous awards for his quality milk production. He was a member of the Wayne/Pike chapter of the PA Farm Bureau. Allan was always ready to help others if he was able. In his free time, he enjoyed reading.

Surviving are three children, Timothy Schnakenberg and his wife Samantha of Oklahoma; Leslie Schnakenberg and Steven Schnakenberg, both of Equinunk; twin grandchildren Noah and Sheridan; and a sister Myra Johannes and her husband Terry of Equinunk.

In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by a daughter Lori Ann Schnakenberg.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 10-11 AM at The First Baptist Church of Damascus, 1678 River Road, Damascus, PA with the funeral service following at 11 AM with Pastor John Highhouse officiating. Interment will follow in Overlook Cemetery, Damascus.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Damascus.
