Jamie M. Smith 60, of Honesdale passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart Dunmore, PA. He is survived by his wife of 10 years Sandra (Russell) Smith.

Born Thursday, September 23, 1965 in Port Jervis NY he was a son of Joyce (DeGroat) Slottko of Honesdale and the late Jimmy Smith.

Jamie was a self-employed electrician and will be remembered as a hard worker and always being there for his family when they needed him.

He was an excellent Drummer and played in various places.

Surviving are a son Jamie Smith Jr. Hawley; his mother and step-father Joyce and Bill Slottko; two grandchildren Kayden, and Landen; and two brothers Mike and Mark Smith.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026 from 3-4 PM at the Arthur A Bryant Funeral Home 1228 N. Main St, Honesdale, where the funeral will follow at 4 PM with Pastor Norm Demming officiating.
