Obituary of Nancy C. Regelsky

Nancy C. Regelsky of Hawley died Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Famularo. Born in Scranton on December 20, 1948 the daughter of the late Adam and Dolores Miller Regelsky. Nancy moved to Hudson County, NJ at a young age where she attended public school. She tended bar for many years at Regal's Inn and Fam's Pub in Jersey City where she was well known by many patrons. She eventually changed careers and became a health caregiver. In this regard she will be remembered for her special attentions to her family, especially her father, mother, sisters and brothers. Nancy had an engaging personality and always lit up the room wherever she went. She is survived by her daughter, Dolores Gadea (Famularo) and son-in-law, John Fredericks of Hawley; three grandchildren, Hannah Fredericks, Jayson Fredericks and John Fredericks all of Hawley; two brothers, Joseph Regelsky , NJ and Eugene Taliercio, NJ; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters, Deborah, Joseph, William, Richard, Adam, Annie, David, Dolores, and Gary. A visitation will be held for family and friends on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 12:00-3:00 PM in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 Main Street, Honesdale, Pa. A Blessing Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday in the funeral home with Deacon Matt Lorent from Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church of Hawley officiating.
