Obituary of Dale T. Fowler

Dale Thomas Fowler, a lifelong resident of Honesdale, passed away at age 61 on Saturday May 27, 2023 after battling a long illness. Tom graduated from Honesdale High School in 1979 and worked for Fowler Oil Company for over 30 years. Tom was sharply intelligent and brought keen insights into any conversation he was in. Strong-willed, fearless, and independent, his strengths helped him stand strong against every adversity he faced. He is survived by his loving parents Dale and Joan Fowler of Honesdale, brother Geoffrey Fowler of Honesdale, brother Ty Fowler and spouse Mary Fowler of Honesdale, devoted sister Susan Ruppert and spouse David Ruppert of Ithaca NY, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. His celebration of life will be a private service held on Saturday, June 3, 2023.
