Marjorie A. Potter, 89 of Honesdale, PA, died Sunday, November 4, 2012 at home. She was married to the late David R. Potter who died in 1974. Born on February 10, 1923 in Honesdale, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Emma Box Kuhn. Marjorie was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Honesdale. She enjoyed quilting and her family was everything to her. She is survived by eight children: Susan Kretschmer and her husband Robert of Waymart, David Potter and his wife Ellen Silberlicht of Honesdale; Lynn Potter Bertsche of Honesdale, Bonny Cousins and her husband Randy of Honesdale, Gail Potter and Paul Kinzinger of Honesdale, Kay Reynolds and her husband David of Honesdale, Margie Kovaleski and her husband Mark of Waymart; twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by an infant child, Mary Potter, a brother, Karl Kuhn and a sister, Helen Tiel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary Magdalen Roman Catholic Church, Honesdale. Those attending the Funeral Mass are asked to go directly to the church. Friends may visit on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from 3:00-7:00 PM at the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 Main Street, Honesdale. The family extends and invitation to join them for a Rosary Service at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Honesdale. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marjorie's memory to the American Red Cross, Wayne Pike Chapter, 8 Silk Mill Dr. Hawley, PA 18428 to aid to victims of Hurricane Sandy.
