Elizabeth A. Schwartz, 85, of Honesdale, died Sunday morning March 17, 2013 in the Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Schwartz in 1996. Born on August 22, 1927 in Honesdale, she was the daughter of the late Willard Daniels and Hilda Conbeer Daniels. Betty was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Honesdale. She enjoyed baking; most of all, Betty especially enjoyed her grandchildren and spending time with them. She will be remembered for her commitment to helping others. Betty greatly appreciated and enjoyed the company and support of family and friends, so in lieu of flowers, please give of yourself and visit a friend or someone in need. She is survived by three daughters: Sharon Schwartz and her husband Gene Nichols of Honesdale, Connie Malone and her husband Joe of Cinnaminson, New Jersey, and Annette Megerian and her husband Garo of Springfield, PA; a son: Jay Schwartz and his wife Melissa of Honesdale; a sister: Lois Beyer of Florida; two brothers: Gerald Daniels of Honesdale, and Ronald Daniels of Poughkeepsie, New York; grandchildren: Joe Malone and his wife Lindsay, Jason Schwartz, Steven Schwartz, Greg Megerian, Carin Megerian, and Haig Megerian. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Beverly Schwartz; and a sister: Joyce Perry. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 23, 2013 in Christ Episcopal Church, Route 6 in Indian Orchard with Rev. Graham Cliff officiating. Friends may visit from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. on Friday, March 22 at the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 North Main Street, Honesdale, PA 18431. Interment will be Saturday in Indian Orchard Cemetery.
