Helen R. Horst, 76, of Honesdale died Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Regional Hospital of Scranton after an illness. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Carl T. Horst.
Born November 25, 1936, in Laurella, PA, Wayne County, she was the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Borkey Vaccaro.
Helen lived her life with elegance and dignity. She will be tremendously missed by all those who loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Lyn Horst and her husband Steve Van Gorder of Cold Spring, New York; and her sister, Anna Koehler of Honesdale.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 North Main Street, Honesdale, PA 18431.
Friends may visit on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Bethany Cemetery.
