Obituary of Helen Lloyd

Helen Lloyd passed away peacefully on April 8th, 2014 at her residence in Bethany Village. She was born in Mount Carmel, Pa. May 29th, 1923, the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Kramer Narus. She became a nurse in the army in Word war II and was proud to be veteran. She met her husband Robert Lloyd and moved to Honesdale Pa in 1954 when Robert purchased the Chevrolet Cadillac dealership She was a member of Saint John's Evangelical Roman Catholic Church in Honesdale, was very active in the Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxillary, and was a 50 year member of the Woman's Club of Honesdale. She was an avid bridge player and continued to play until shortly before her death. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert G. Lloyd and her son Robert J. Lloyd. She is survived by two daughters; Connie of Beach Lake, PA and Ginny of West Hartford Ct., her son in law Jeffrey as well as her three grandsons, Scott and Alex Kluger of West Hartford and NYC, and Bobby Lloyd of Gainesville, Florida. A memorial service will take place on April 21, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Bryant's Funeral Home, 1228 Main Street in Honesdale.
