Obituary of Audrey D. Perham

Audrey D. Perham, 78 of Pleasant Mount, PA, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at home. She was married to the late Raymond Perham who died in 2011.
Born October 5, 1935 in Pleasant Mount, PA, she was the daughter of the late Reuben C. and Laura Pauline (Kennedy) Stiles.
Audrey attended the Pleasant Mount schools growing up. She lived in New Jersey for nineteen years before moving back to Pleasant Mount. Audrey was a Republican Committee Woman, and was the recipient of the Committee Woman of the Year Award. She served Mt. Pleasant Township as Judge of Elections, and was involved in the transportation of voter ballots to the Wayne County Courthouse each election. She was a member of the Pleasant Mount Emergency Services, and was First Responder for the former Belmont Ambulance and Fire Company; she was also a member of the ladies auxiliaries, and the Pleasant Mount United Methodist Church. Audrey loved her plants and flowers; she especially loved feeding humming birds.
She is survived by her five daughters, Karen Hall and her husband Tom of Lake Ariel, Sandy Zigon of Harleysville, Pa, Dawn Skinner of Prompton, Kay McBride and her companion Tim Dougherty of Forest City, Gwen Peak and her husband Herb of Pleasant Mount, Pa; seventeen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Merlin "John" Stiles of Florida and Alan Stiles and his wife Barbara of North Carolina; a brother-in-law, Gomer Perham of Pleasant mount; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Leonard and Lois Anderson Bibalo; a brother, Charles Stiles; and a son-in-law, Lyle Skinner.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, July 14, 2014 in the Wheeler Hill Cemetery.
Friends may visit on Sunday, July 13, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 North Main Street, Honesdale, PA 18431.
