Obituary of Linda J. Novoa

Linda J. Novoa, 59 of Lake Ariel, PA, died Sunday, June 26, 2011 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, PA. Born in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Joan Kenny Collins. She was married to the late Guillermo Novoa who died in 1992. Linda was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Lake Ariel. Linda was an avid follower of baseball, particularly The New York Yankees. In addition, she enjoyed sitting by the water to relax. She was in the process of attaining a degree in Human Services before she became ill. Her dream was to open a safe haven for runaway children. Linda is survived by two sons, Bill Novoa at home and Christopher Novoa at home; a daughter, Debra Lynn Novoa at home. She was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Collins and an infant sister, Deborah Collins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 9:30 AM in St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Lake Ariel. Friends may visit the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 Main Street, Honesdale, Pa on Friday, July 1, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM. Interment will be Tuesday in St Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
