Bonnie Layton, age 72, of Hancock, NY died Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center of Honesdale, PA. Bonnie was born July 29, 1942 in ,Equinunk, and was the daughter of the late Berton and Evelyn (Stalker) Roloson. She was employed by the Delaware Valley-Sullivan's West School System as a Special Ed Teacher's Aide for many years. Bonnie was very active in the Braman United Methodist Church of the Equinunk Methodist Charge where she had been Sunday School Superintendent and a teacher and Director of the Bible School. She was also a Lay Minister and church pianist. She was a nurturing mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and a caring, loving person. She was full of joy and shared her inner light with all those around her. She is survived by a son: Rickey Layton and his wife Ginny, Equinunk; 4 daughters: Gloria White and her husband Matthew, Hancock,NY, Brenda Lewis and her husband, Stephen, Equinunk, Barbara Punzi and her husband Richard, Equinunk, and Nettie Possemato, Long Eddy, NY; two brothers: Berton Roloson and his wife, Heather, Equinunk, and Ralph Roloson, Milanville; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, August 14, 2014 in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 North Main Street, Honesdale, PA with Rev. Roxy Moses officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday, from Noon - 2:00 pm and 4:00 - 6:00PM. . .
