Obituary of Charles W. Steele

Charles (Chuck) W. Steele, age 77, of Honesdale died Monday, January 5, 2015 at Geisinger Community Medical Center of Scranton. He is married to Monica Lepinsky Steele of Honesdale. Chuck was born September 18, 1937 in Newark, NJ. He was the son of the late Charles and Mary Steele. After graduation from high school he served in the United States Army during the Korean war. Before moving to Pa he and his wife Monica lived in Kearny, NJ. Chuck worked in Kearney, NJ as maintenance in automobile sales. He loved to go to auctions and flea markets. Chuck was a collector of toys and military collectibles. In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons, Scott Steele of New Jersey, Michael Steele and his wife Barbara of New Jersey, Charles Steele of PA; two daughters, Monica Lunn and husband Jack of PA and Michele Bagdon and her husband Rob of PA; a brother in law Alex Lepinsky and his wife Rosalie of NJ; a sister Maria Emmetti and her husband Michael of CA; twenty two grandchildren and many great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Friends may visit on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral, 1228 Main Street Honesdale, Pa .from 1:00- 3:00 PM. . .
