Obituary of Rose M. Johannes

Born in Honesdale, daughter of the late John M. and Mabel Hiller Moser, she was employed as a waitress at the Hawley Diner for over 30 years. Rose was a member of St. John's Roman Catholic Parish, Honesdale. She loved playing bingo and taking trips to Atlantic City. She especially loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by a son , Louis Johannes, Honesdale, a daughter, Mrs. Sherrie Kimble and her husband Andy, Honesdale; a brother, Richard Moser and his wife Carol of Lakeville; four grandchildren: Jeffrey, Jr., Tracy, Amanda and Chris; two great grandchildren: Emma and Liam. She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey in 2008 and a brother, John Moser. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at St. Mary Magdalen's Roman Catholic CHurch, Honesdale. Interment will be in the Spring at the Indian Orchard Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 North Main Street, Honesdale on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm.
