Jean M. Weber, age 92, died Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Wayne Woodlands Manor Waymart, Pa. She was the wife of Robert Weber who died Nov. 13, 1994. Jean was born May 20, 1922 in Port Jervis, NY. She is the daughter of the late Bernard and Bernice Dunn Swartwood. Jean graduated from High School, class of 1939 and continued her education by attending Wayne Commercial School in Honesdale, Pa. She was employed as a secretary of the PA Dept of Health for 25 years until retiring. Jean was a member of the Beach Lake United Methodist Church and was best known for her strong Christian faith that inspired many throughout the years. She is survived by 2 sons William Weber and wife Ginny of Cincinnatus, NY ,Raymond Weber and wife Debbie of Somerset, Pa; a daughter, Diane Cole and husband Lynn of Honesdale; seven grandchildren; Gregory Weber, Jeffrey Weber, Stephanie Weber Landis, Sarah Weber Morningstar, Ashley Weber, Amanda Cole Yerkes, and Adam Cole; 11 great grandchildren; a brother Bernard Swartwood. Jean's request was cremation and private Memorial Service with her children and their families. She will be placed to rest with Robert along with her Mother and Grandparents at the Indian Orchard Cemetery. . . .
