Obituary of Debra K. Skinner

Debra K. Skinner, age 61, of Honesdale died Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at home in Honesdale. Debra is survived by her husband Duane E. Skinner. Debra was born June 1, 1954 in Honesdale and was the daughter of Eleanor (Holbert) Gillow , Honesdale and the late Harland Gillow. She was employed as a legal secretary and a graduate of Honesdale High School. In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Jeremiah Masters of Honesdale; two daughters, Angela Micinowski of Delaware and Melissa Masters Sprinkel of Virginia; two sisters, Sandra Fotusky and her husband Nathan of Honesdale and Patricia Racht and her husband Robert of Waymart; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Carla Masters. She was an active member, AWANA youth group leader, and former Deaconess at Tabernacle Bible Church. Not only was Debbie devoted to her church, but also to her family. Her creativity and love radiated through everyone who knew her. She always made it a point to make time for and be involved with her family. We will all miss her dearly. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Tabernacle Bible Church, Grove Street, Honesdale with the Rev. John S. Banks officiating.
