Obituary of Gertrude Gerchock

Beloved Mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Gertrude Gerchock of Honesdale died Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from a long illness. She was born in Germany in 1927 and came to America when she was only 19 years old. She loved her German music and loved to dance, and always had a smile for all the people she met. All of her brothers and sister still live in Germany. Gertie, which she liked to be called was preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Ann Kerwin in 2010 who had two children, Christy and Dennis Hauenstein. Other surviving children are Mike Kerwin of Fulton, NY, Jim Kerwin and his wife Sally of Honesdale and their children, Toni and Josh Kerwin; a daughter, Sue Robinholt and her husband Gary of Honesdale, their son Eric Brill and his wife Melanie and their daughters, Peyton and Kenleigh all from Reading, Pa.
