Kenneth D. Bonham, age 85, of Pleasant Mount, died Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Gino J. Merli Veteran's Center of Scranton, PA. He was married to the late Artemice Bonham who died in 2003. Kenneth was born October 2, 1930 in Pleasant Mount, PA. He is the son of the late Jesse and Alvina (Baldwin) Bonham. Kenneth served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for many years at Kinsman's Farm Equipment in Honesdale. Kenneth was a well-known baseball player and had been inducted into the Wayne County Sportsmans Hall of Fame for baseball. He also enjoyed bowling. Kenneth was a member of the Pleasant Mount United Methodist Chuch. He is survived by two sons, Robert Bonham and his wife Alice Ann of Bangor, Pa and Gary Bonham of Honesdale; five grandchildren, Kayla and Kevin Welsh of Raleigh, NC, Dakota Bonham of Honesdale, Jake Bonham of Honesdale, Rusty Bonham of Honesdale, Jessica Bonham of Bangor, Pa; two brothers, Arthur Bonham and his wife Lisa of Bethany and Dwight Bonham and his wife Louise of Pleasant Mount; two sisters, Iora Bonham, Binghamton, NY and Helen Carlin and her husband Dexter of York, Pa; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife he is preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Bonham and two sisters: Alvina Leet and Shirley Bonham. The family would like to thank the Gino J. Merli Veterans Center for their compassionate care for Kenneth. A private graveside service will in the Green Grove Cemetery, Pleasant Mount at the family's convenience. Arrangements are attended by the Arthur A.
