Obituary of Harold C. Bush

Harold C. Bush died at home on October 28, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Lucile Nafus Bush. Harold was born in Abrahamsville the son of the late Corwin and Julie Kellam Bush. He graduated from Honesdale High School Class of 1938. Harold was a mailman for 30 years and worked on the family dairy farm in Abrahamsville. He was a member of the Agricultural Soil Conservation Service Committee and a member of the Lookout Oddfellows Lodge. Harold was a member of the Abrahamsville United Methodist Church and a former member of the Hillcrest Cemetery Association, Galilee. He will be remembered in many ways but especially as a wonderful father and grandfather and great grandfather. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Gary Bush and his wife Jan of Falling Waters, W. Virginia and Guy E. Bush of Abrahamsville; a daughter, Mrs. Beverly Johannes and her husband Alan of Equinunk; grandchildren, Toby Johannes of Abrahamsville, Marlene Hoffman of Tyler Hill, Joel Johannnes of Equinunk, Erin Bush of W. Virginia, Eric Bush of W. Virginia; great grandchildren, Marissa Johannes of Abrahamsville, Joshua Johannes of Abrahamsville, Jordan Hoffmasn of Tyler Hill, Taylor Johannnes of Tyler Hill, Ashley Hoffman of Tyler Hill; nieces and nephews, Scott, Sandra, Billy Joe, and Jeri Lynn. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald and Lawrence Bush. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2015 in the Abrahamsville United Methodist Church at 2:00 PM. A private interment in Hillcrest Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are attended by the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 Main Street Honesdale, Pa.
