Obituary of Bud Dehmer

Bud G. Dehmer,73, of Damascus died November 29, 2015 at home following an illness. Born in St. Paul. Minnesota, he was the son of the late Adolph and Minnie Cutland Dehmer. Bud was a self-employed treeman and ran a tree service in Tampa , Florida for many years until retiring and moving to Northeast Pa.. In his retirement Bud enjoyed fishing, doing tree work, working on his tractor, helping his neighbors, and spending time with his dogs, Gizmo and Tiger. Bud is survived by a partner, Virginia Deighton of Damascus; a son, Brian Dehmer, Tampa, Florida; three sisters, Joanne of Washington State, Judy of Texas, Dawn of Minnesota; two brothers, Dave Dehmer of Wisconsin and Joe Dehmer and his wife Jody of Minnesota; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings, Jack, Barbara, Dolly, and Linda. A special thank you to all who touched Bud's life in a very dignified manner. Memorial contributions can be made to the Dessin Animal Shelter, 138 Miller Drive, Honesdale, Pa 18431. Services will be private held at the convenience of the family.
