Obituary of Francis Robinson

Francis "Jim" Robinson, 82 died on December 18, 2015 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center. He was married to the late Beverly J.Robinson. Jim was born in South Canaan the son of the late George and Helen Robinson.He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was employed at Murray Company in Honesdale as a technician. Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Prompton Methodist Church. Jim is survived by a son, Martin Robinson and companion Laurie Soriano of Prompton and his daughter Michelle Robinson of Scranton; a daughter, Lynn Johannes and her husband Jerome Johannes III of Honesdale and their sons, Colin Johannes of Ashboro, NC and Taylor Johannes of Beach Lake, Pa; three sisiters, Marie and Joseph Dragwa of Simpson, Jane Ovens of Lake Ariel, Pa, Bessie Palmer of Uniondale, Pa; brothers, Thomas and Lorraine Robinson of Lake Alden, Pa and Richard Robinson of Carbondale. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by brothers, David Robinson and Clarence Robinson; a sister, Louise Cummings. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 Main Street, Honesdale, Pa. Friends may visit the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00-11:00 AM . Interment will be in the Glen Dyberry Cemetery, Honesdale, Pa. Memorial contributions can be made to the Prompton Methodist Church or the Honesdale VFW
