Karen K. Hoffman of Beach Lake passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016. She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Robert Elden Hoffman. Karen was born March 12, 1943 in Orange, New Jersey and was the daughter of the late Harold and Ruth Henrich Kelshaw. She studied early childhood education at Wagner College, Staten Island, New York and participated in the school's traveling choir and tennis team. For many years she worked with her husband as owner-operators of Party Perfection in Honesdale and Hoffman Specialties. She was a member of the Tabernacle Bible Church, Honesdale and a former member of the United Methodist Church of Beach Lake. She enjoyed singing and was a member of the Honesdale Choralaires. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons and two daughter-in-laws: Thomas John Hoffman and his wife Tami, Pleasant Mount and James Elden Hoffman and his wife Amy, Beach Lake; 9 grandchildren: Eli Hoffman, Gideon Hoffman, Belle Hoffman, Miles Hoffman, Dakota Hoffman, Chris Price, Cameron Price, Dylan Hoffman, and Colleen Brunner; 3 great grandchildren: Isabella Price, Aiden Price, and Acelynn Price. A visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 am on Saturday, January 30, 2016 in the Tabernacle Bible Church, 455 Grove Street, Honesdale, PA. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am in the sanctuary and following the services a light luncheon for family and friends will be held in the social hall of the Church. Funeral arrangements are attended by the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home , 1228 North Main Street, Honesdale.
