Karen Ann Spencer, 64 of Wayne County, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011 in the Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale. She was married to Gerald Lee Spencer. Born in Little Rock, MI, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Betty McKenna Prang. Karen was of the Catholic faith. She was a loving wife and mother. Karen was a lover of beautiful things and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by two sons, Bernard Lee Spencer of Pa and Brian Spencer and his wife Erin of Beach Lake, Pa; two brothers, Raymond Prang of Angel's Camp, CA and Matthew Prang of San Andreas, CA; two grandchildren, Kira Spencer and Tyler Spencer both of Beach Lake, Pa. A Christian prayer service will be held on Monday, October 3, 2011 at 8:00 PM in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 Main Street, Honesdale, Pa . Friends may visit the funeral home on Monday from 7:00-8:00 PM.
