Walter J. Podejko, age 99, of Honesdale died on Thursday, July 28, 2016 following an illness. He is survived by his wife Florence Wilcox Podejko.
Walter was born June 9. 1917 in Newark the son of Stanley and Anna Zylinski Podejko. He served in the United States Army during World War II.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Walter J, Podejko Jr. of Honesdale and Howard Podejko of Beach Lake; a daughter, Linda Andrews of Florida; a granddaughter, Crystal Podejko.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Indian Orchard Cemetery, Honesdale.
Arrangements are attended by Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 Main Street, Honesdale, Pa.
