Nancy J. Avery Nancy Jacqueline Avery, 59, of Beach Lake passed away comfortably and surrounded by family on Saturday, December, 31, 2016 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville from complications due to an illness. Born on October 27, 1957, Nancy was raised in Milanville and was a graduate of Damascus High School. She is preceded in death by her parents, whom she adored, Herman and Florence Esselman formerly of Honesdale. Married for 37 years and together for more than 40 years, Nancy planned, organized, and guided tours for Avery Transportation alongside the "love of her life", Lyle Avery of Beach Lake. Her smiling face and warm personality were an added bonus to each tour. In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by her beloved pets, Jet and Pebbles. She is also survived by her siblings, Deanna Tegeler and husband Robert of New City, NY, Herman Esselman and wife Dorothy of Lake Huntington, NY, Robert "Bobby" Esselman and wife Betty Ann of Frostproof, FL, and Lynda Marks and husband Frank of Damascus, as well as many nieces, nephews, and Avery and Esselman extended families. All will miss her kind, generous, and loving spirit. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 11:00a.m. at the Hamlin Assembly of God, 613 Easton Turnpike, Lake Ariel. A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are attended by the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 Main Street Honesdale, Pa 18431.
