Obituary of Madeline R. Braun

Madeline R. Braun passed away Monday, December 18. 2017, at home with her loving family. She was married to the late William Braun. Madeline was born in Brooklyn the daughter of the late George and Elsie Fielder. She was a switchboard operator and a member of the Presbyterian Church. Madeline, when she lived in New York liked to feed the sea gulls on Long Island. She loved playing cards and scrabble and also crocheting. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Eddings and her husband Richard of Honesdale; grandchidren, Stephen Rhodes, Thomas Rhodes, Stuart Rhodes, Jr., and Jennifer Rhodes Chmelik; 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean and Lorraine. A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 8:00 pm in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home 1228 Main Street Honesdale, Pa 18431 with Rev. William Rushik officiating. Friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00-800 pm. Madeline will be buried in Calverton National Cemetery with her late husband.
