Obituary of Margaret D. Fasceski

Margaret Della Fasceski passed away at Regional Hospital of Scranton on September 27, 2018. She was married to the late Alexander John "A.J." Fasceski.

 

Della was born in Honesdale, the daughter of the late Lester and Liona Bayly Brown. She was a long time dairy farmer with her husband residing in Rileyville. She enjoyed crocheting, bowling, gardening, baking, taking pictures, and visiting friends and family along with many other activities.

 

She was a tap dancer at the Honesdale Dance Studio. She enjoyed the polka and square dancing where ever there was music. Della was a member of the Silver Bells singing group and sang in Calder House First Friday. She was also a Republican Committee Woman for Lebanon Township and she was a member the Cold Springs/Rileyville Presbyterian Church.

 

Della is survived by her children, Karen Hiller and her husband Fred of Rileyville, Alex Fasceski and his wife Joan of Rileyville, JoAnn Watson of North Carolina, and John Fasceski and his companion Gina Miletta of Rileyville; a sister, Mary Varcoe of Honesdale; grandchildren, Tracy Lamberton and husband Paul, Josh Fasceski and companion Laura, Melissa Riggs and husband Scott, step-grand children Bobbi Lee Dailey and husband Tim, Deanna and Brandon Miletta, Heather and Heidi Parnell, Jamie, Amber & Michael Watson; eleven great grandchildren; one great, great grandson.

Della was preceded in death by her husband Alex, grandson Stephen Fasceski, sister Gloria Luizzo, and brother Grant "Sonny" Brown.

 

A memorial service will be held on October 5, 2018 at eleven a.m. at the Cold Springs/Rileyville Presbyterian Church in Rileyville (2497 Great Bend Tpke, Honesdale, PA 18431) with Rev. Doug Lee officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church or a charity of your choice.
