Honesdale resident Ernest Kannengiesser, 78, passed away quietly at his home after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Kannengiesser and two daughters and their husbands: M. Katherine Engebretsen of Morristown, TN, married to Erik Engebretsen, and Patricia A. Koehler, of Honesdale, married to Jason Koehler. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Madeline Lane Engebretsen of Morristown, TN and several nieces and nephews. Ernest will be laid to rest at East Dyberry Cemetery.
