Helen J. Osar Obituary
Helen J. Osar, 95 of Honesdale, PA, passed away at home peacefully on January 16, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Osar, in 1992.
Born on February 6, 1925 in Haskell, New Jersey, to the late Albert and Helen Hague and stepfather Clem Whritenour.
She is survived by her children: Jane (Paul G.) Mathews, and James Osar both of Honesdale. She is also survived by grandson, Paul H. Mathews of Waymart, great granddaughter, Tiffany (Curtis) Rosler of Honesdale, sister-in-law Olive Hague of Haskell, NJ, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was also preceded in death by her son John Osar, step-son Harold J. Osar, and brothers Albert and David Hague.
Due to the pandemic, funeral arrangements will be private and at the convenience of the family. A celebration of Helen's life will be held in the future.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Helen's memory to the Dessin Animal Shelter.
