Obituary of Lori Ann Schnakenberg

Lori Ann Schnakenberg died unexpectedly at home in Simpson on March 2, 2021. She is the daughter of Allan Schnakenberg of Duck Harbor and the late Janet Arnold Schnakenberg. Lori was born January 2, 1976 in Carbondale and graduated from Damascus Christian Academy in 1994. She went on to obtain her bachelor and master degrees from Pensacola Christian College in Florida. She taught school in the Worcester, Mass. area and later in Mechanicsburg until 2012. Lori then moved back to Northeast, Pa. and worked for ComServe Systems as a Retail/Specialty Markets Contact Center Representative. She attended the Damascus Baptist Church and she was a member of several teaching associations. Lori enjoyed crafting and gardening, especially flowers. Her family was of great importance to her, and she will always be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. In addition to her father she is survived by two brothers, Tim Schnakenberg and his wife Samantha of Oklahoma and Steven Schnakenberg of Simpson; a sister, Leslie Schnakenberg of Duck Harbor; a niece, Sheriden Schnakenberg and a nephew, Noah Schnakenberg. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 12, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Damascus Baptist Church with Pastor Stuart Hunt officiating. Burial will be in the Overlook Cemetery, Damascus in the Spring. Friends may visit at the Church on Friday from 10:30 to 11:00 am.
