Paul E. Pollard, 73, of Pleasant Mount, PA, died Wednesday April 21, 2021 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center in Honesdale, following an illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Natalya Kasura Pollard in 2005 Born in the Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Charles and Ellen Josephson Pollard. He was a graduate of Clarktown High School in New City, NY and was an exceptional athlete, known for his strength on the basketball team. Following his graduation, he served in The United States Army, and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. For years he worked for International Paper, in Rockland County as an electrician. In 1984 he moved to the Pleasant Mount area and was co-owner of the Chris-Tal Electric Company of Honesdale. Paul was an avid sportsman and loved hunting, fishing and playing softball for the Red Schoolhouse. He is survived by three daughters: Tracy Reither (Jeff) Arkville, NY, Kristie Hull, Arkville, NY and Tania A. Pollard, Jacksonville, FL; three sisters: Eleanor Arbuco, Rockland County, NY and Claudia Schweitzer; and three grandchildren. In addition to his wife he was predeceased by sister, Emily Wagner. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2021 from 12:00 Noon– 2:00 pm in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 North Main St, Honesdale, PA.
