Glennie E. Schwab Obituary

Glennie E. Schwab, 69, Galilee, died Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at home with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Dee Shelp-Schwab with whom he has shared the last 29 years of his life. Born in Callicoon, New York, son of the late Glennie L. and Hazel Eldred Schwab, he had a successful career as a framer/carpenter that he always enjoyed. He was also a Harley enthusiast, avid hunter, fisherman and overall outdoorsman. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Brad Schwab, Wilmington, NC; two daughters: Heather Hopkins, Hawley, and Stephanie Schwab, Shavertown, PA; 2 brothers: Elvin Schwab and wife Joy and Fred L. Schwab and wife Dawn; two sisters: Marie Cole, East Stroudsburg and Nancy Marold and husband Michael, Honesdale; 14 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 from 7-900 at the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 Main Street , Honesdale. There will be a funeral service at 10:0 am on Saturday, May 8 at the Schwab Family Cemetery on Chicopee Road, Galilee. Memorial contributions may be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, 1250 Fourth St., Santa Monica, CA 90401
