Obituary of Eva Grace Crocker

Eva G. Crocker (nee Pruner) of Seelyville died May 16, 2021 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center, Honesdale, after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, "Jack" Crocker. Born in Seelyville April 8, 1936, she was the daughter of Frederick and Hazel Doney Pruner. During her teenage years, she played the piano on the radio on Saturday mornings to accompany other instruments during a talent show. In her later years she played the piano in Sunday school and in church as needed. She enjoyed bowling, singing in the church choir and playing bells in the bell choir. Her favorite pastime was traveling with her travel buddy and sister in law, Marie Crocker. Eva worked as a bookkeeper throughout her life and retired from Marshall Machinery at the age of 80. She also used her knowledge to volunteer as the treasurer of the Seelyville Fire Company for many years, as well as being a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Eva is survived by her six children, Cindy Borgstrom and her husband Dennis, Brian Crocker, Debra Pender and her husband Kevin, Kathy Mousley, Dale Crocker, and Linda Prettyman and her husband Ray. Eva has one sister Shirley Fisher and her husband Charles of New Jersey. She loved her grandchildren, Tom, Chrissy, Kimberly, Crysta, Amanda, Sarah, Sean, Amy, and Austin, as well as her 15 great grandchildren. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday May 21, 2021 in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 North Main Street, Honesdale with services by Rev. William Blackie. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00 - 11:00 am on Friday.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either the Seelyville Fire Company, 1200 Bridge St, Honesdale Pa, 18431, or the Bethany Presbyterian church, 431 Wayne St. Bethany, Pa 18431.
