Obituary of Norma Pritchard

Norma Pritchard, 91, Honesdale, died Monday, June 28, 2021 at the Wayne Memorial Hospital following an illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard. Born in Lebanon township, daughter of the late William and Grace Stanton LaTourette, she graduated from Honesdale High School in 1947. She was employed by Sammy's Furniture, Honesdale until 1958 after which she operated a dairy farm with her husband on the Pritchard Homestead in Dyberry Township. Norma was an avid deer hunter who never missed the first day of buck season for over 60 years. She was a member of the Bethany Presbyterian Church, the daughters of America and the former Pleasant Valley Grange. She is survived by a daughter, Joanne Kellerman and her husband Craig of Honesdale, two sons: Dick Pritchard and his wife Ellen, Honesdale and Ronald Pritchard, Honesdale; five grandchildren all of Honesdale: Justin Pritchard and his wife Mychaela, Jennifer Theobald and her husband, Scott, Sara Kellerman, Ronald Pritchard, Jr., and Jonah Pritchard; one great grandson: Carter Theobald; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Marie Bartron and a granddaughter, Grace Marie Pritchard. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 9, 2021 in the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home, 1228 North Main Street, Honesdale with Rev. William Blackie of the Bethany Presbyterian Church officiating.
