Shirley Danielson Davey, 78 of Honesdale, Pa and Bradenton FL, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Shirley was the widow of the late Russell Davey. Shirley and Russ were married on February 14, 1961 in Anchorage, Alaska. Born on July 5, 1943 in LaCrosse, WI to the late Malinda (Roraff) Lavoy and the late Walter Danielson. Shirley was an active woman and always enjoyed a good adventure with those she cared about. You could find her on the golf course, a campground with friends in PA or having a cocktail during happy hour with her FL crew. Shirley was a devoted friend, wife, grandmother, and GiGi. She was always spending time with those she loved. Shirley is survived by her son-in-law, Keith Wallace, granddaughter Taylor Britton and husband Nicolas, great grandsons Landon and Owen Britton, step grandchildren Ashley Gross and husband Wyatt, great grandsons Wade and Carter Gross, Chance Wallace and companion Emily Barton, Brothers Gerald Danielson and wife, Rose; Waipahu, HI, Lester Lavoy and wife Tammy; Greentown, PA, Sisters Darlene Harris; Edgar Springs, MO, Betty Peters and husband Ralph; Scopus, MO, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Russell Davey, brother Robert Danielson, brother-in-law Richard Davey, her father-in-law Howard Davey, mother-in-law Ruth Davey and her cherished daughter, Michelle Davey Wallace, two weeks prior to her passing. Shirley was a person that everyone who knew her, loved. She loved her family immensely and would be often showing off the latest pictures of the babies or sharing stories with her friends. Shirley was a beautiful,caring soul who made all around her smile and laugh. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. Arrangements are being made by Arthur Bryant Funeral Home,1228 Main Street Honesdale, Pa. There will be visitation hours on Sunday September 19th from 2:00pm- 4:00pm at the Arthur A. Bryant Funeral Home Honesdale, Pa. A late luncheon will follow with close family and friends. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Shriners Hospital in Shirley's name would be appreciated.
